Our accommodation has been set-up in both the main part of the house as well as the North Wing of the Hall, we are happy to allow our guests to walk through the house allowing access to our reception rooms as well as the dining room.

We have two entrances to the house, Guests are welcome to arrive at either. The entrance leading off the courtyard was probably used as the Tradesman's Entrance in years gone by! This leads into the Entrance Hall with it's limestone floor, Utility room, Boot room and cloak/shower room on the ground floor. The front entrance leads directly into the main hall with its magnificence of a grand staircase.

Breakfast is taken in the formal Dining room located at the front of the main hall. It has views overlooking the formal lawned garden. An ideal setting to wake up slowly over breakfast.

There is a huge choice for breakfast, ranging from a full English Breakfast using locally cured bacon, sausages and free range eggs, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs through to Poached eggs on toast.

You can help yourself to fresh fruit juices, selection of cereal and toast with tea and ground coffee being made freshly for you.  A great of care is taken in the preparation of a good breakfast, after all there is no better way to start the day!

We provide a refrigerator next to the kitchen, which is stocked with fresh milk and fruit juice and you are also welcome to use the fridge for chilling your own drinks if you wish.

The Boot Room has been set-up to allow walkers to leave their wet coats and boots to dry off next to the large radiator, so things are dry and warm for the next adventure.  Additional drying facilities are provided in the Utility room if required.

The cloak/shower room is available to supplement bathroom facilities in the rooms, especially if you got extra wet and mucky in the Peaks!

Reception Rooms: Two formal reception rooms have been made available for you to use giving you the opportunity to relax in manorial splendour without feeling that you have to stay in your room. One room is a quiet room, formerly the formal panelled Dining Room and the other is the Drawing Room that has a 37” Plasma TV for more family/group orientated viewing.
